sorry, but DONT think they were stupid because they were beauty-queens, oh no no no!... the answers are always AS crass regardless of contestant profession on the USA version of the show...

I have to say it, on the USA version of Weakest Link 90% of the questions are about US based Tv shows or Tv adverts - simple stuff for dumb s - such as:

Q. "what brand of insect spray uses the phrase in it's TV adverts: 'Kills all known bugs dead' " ??

I mean fer s sake!!... what sort of question is that?...

Here's another gem from tonights show

Q. "What precious metal used in making jewellery has the symbol PT" ?

A. "Pewter!"

I mean!........ lol!!! (that answer was from 'Miss Hawaiian Tropic' btw!)

Those shows are there to make people feel good about their intellect (the antitheses to jeopardy). Wheel of fortune used to fill that void, but the populace demanded, "Stupider questions! Dumber contestants! Make us feel smarter!" and their cries were answered with millinaire/greed/weakest link/the chamber/etc.
