curious? why curious? i want to launch a web portal. one of the components should be a interactive 303 (or some "parts" of it). have you ever seen a macromedia flash sound synth, player or something like that? just take a look here: http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Sound/Mixers/AudioMei-Andrew_L-7106/index.php
ißm searching for something like that in 303-style.
if theres no resource for an "online 303", i would programm for myself ... but first step is to ask if somebody allready had this .. ;-)

This is a flash with samples and some pan/volume etc. fader.
But i had also seen a flash keyboard with reso etc.
Im sure that its possible to program simple sound-algorithms (like a simple software 303-emulator) with the help of action script.

AS lets you play back samples; you can control the pan and volume. NO way to control the pitch (other than multisampling)... even getting loops to sync properly in flash is VERY hard.
although there are a few hacks; i've heard you can generate different pitches by "retriggering" a sample (i.e say you've got a sample of a single cycle of a sine wave; you could stop+restart the sample every time the playhead got 1/4 of the way through... but this would change the timbre/spectrum as well as the pitch)
flash is useless for stuff like that; i don't even think director has much... you really need to go to a lower level (java or c/c++).
of course, you can go the lame "multisampled"etc. route but that's nowhere near synthesis... blech.
in summary: "Im sure that its possible to program simple sound-algorithms (like a simple software 303-emulator) with the help of action script. "
i'm sure it's not; actionscript gives you NO low-level (and very little high-level) access to sound/data generation, manipulation, or playback. sorry.
