I noticed a cool feature of the EXS 24mkII, which are the little midi controller windows for assigning midi controller numbers to various doobries on it. These don't seem to exist on the softsynths. It would be nice to have a similar system for those.

Is there any way of (easily) assigning controllers to, say, the cutoff on the ESM 1 without doing loads of gubbins in the Environment?

If so, how?

i don't think so, pain in the arse the whole thing is. why can't they give us a list of what correponds to what? at least for the free ones? damn emagic making us do some stupid guessing game.

Yeah, the EXS' midi control assignment is simplicity
itself. Nice!

Damn. They could of at least done something like the
'midi learn' feature in Reason or Live.

Arse. I really don't fancy delving into that environment
again...

Somebody? Anybody?

yes they really could have. making a transformer for logic's synths is a right pain in the ass.
