I've been playing around with this Logic stuff- a friend leant me the software and I've been enjoying it highly. There is one qualm i have though...

Whenever I play around with the mapped drums or the piano etc, my midi keyboard has no delay at all...it sounds perfect right when i hit the key. However, when im fooling around with the ES2 or any other synths, there is a slight but highly annoying delay after i hit the key be4 the sound comes out...any ideas?

That's latency, that it.

Probably cuz you're running Logic on a PC and not a Mac.

;)

What soundcard are you using?

Yes it was alright...using my crappy SB audigy that came with the CPU..gonna prolly get a new one soon but oh well. It runs puurfect now thanks so much =)

You should be able to get quite low latency with that card. Might want to google the alternative drivers for that card. See if they get better results.
