I turned down the sensitivity on my monitors and guess what? I could actually HEAR that my bass was overloading.

Turns out that I was overcompensating with the monitor sensitivity setting for the low output on my PC soundcard out all along. I changed to a Motu 828 and it has some nice hot outputs on it, but I forgot about my previous sensitivity settings...

It's nice to actually hear it wrong in the studio for a change.

I ususally burn disks and take it out for a spin in my car and then go back to the studio, adjust the bass and then burn and try again. Now I don't have to do that as much.

Whoo hoo!

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
