Anyone know what diffres between the SN2 and the NOVA.
Novation claims that SN2 patches can be loaded in the NOVA? But will they sound difrent??

Hi,
patches created on a Nova will load into the Supernova II with full compatibility and will sound identical. Patches created on a Supernova II will load into the Nova with limited compatibilty as the Supernova II has features which are not supported on the Nova. If none of the additional features are used from the Supernova II, then the patch will load in to the Nova correctly and will sound identical.
The Supernova II has a finer degree of control over the dual filters, FM synthesis, loopable AD envelope stages, better chorus style effects including a 6 pole phaser and rotary speaker emulation, a drum mode and a more advanced comb filter. There are more parameters in the Supernova II which will sync to MIDI clock including envelope delay, LFO delay, chorus, pan & comb filter LFOs and finally there is a 'one shot mode' for the Supernova II which hold an amp envelope sustain amount for a given time.

Nick is crazy helpful around here, but do you really think he's gonna take the time to explain things that are in the manual? If you have a specific question about something you don't understand in the manual, that may be a better route to education.
