Why are the oscillators on the es2 tuned to 440hz at A1? Most synths have the concert pitch of 440hz tuned to A3. Why is this? Its confusing me.

I had a very strange dream that involved me havnig a Mac, which I paid for, delivered to a wearhouse that I was living in. When it arrived, I found that it had two monitors and two graphics cards but I didn't have enough money for Logic 6. So the software was being kept until I could pay for it.

Dunno why I have told you this (almost tempted to clear the message), but pretty... erm... interesting?!?

Thats a funny dream. Reminds me of a dream I had a while back. I dreamt I bought a fancy ass hi-end car and then started to panic about how I was going to pay for it. I woke up really freaked out. Weird.

not stumped - yanks call C1 C3... cos they start the keyboard at C0 instead of C-2 like europeans.... so Logic and VST call 440hz C1, but cake for example calls it C3

to add, but that's just for display purposes, if you export a midifile of C3 notes from Cake to vst or logic they will import on the right stave and be called 'C1'

(think I got that the right way round)
