Hi virus friends,

I am a happy virus user. Up till now I only used the internal FX. I am thinking about buying an external FX unit to go with the virus. Especialy for reverb and delay.

Which FX do you use with your virus and for what kind of effect?

I use the virus mainly for bassy (trance) kind of sounds.

Greets, johan

I use a Sony DPS-V55 for effects. I've got a Virus A so I use it for anything other than chorus or short delays. I use it often for long delays, stereo delays, phaser, and distortion.

It's a nice box because it can process 4 inputs independantly (or 1 stereo and 2 mono, or 2 stereo). Great for live use, when I run my Nord through 1 and 2 and the Virus through 3 and 4.

Thanks for your reaction,

One more question: can you use different effects (and different delay settings) for each channel?
If so, you got two fx units in one box!

Actually, you've got four mono FX units in the box, or one stereo and 2 mono, or 2 stereo. There's also a fantastic reverb that uses all of the box's horsepower that works onliy on one stereo pair, but I never use it.
