Can you have a external carrier and modulation with the Vocoder on the Virus C? I am thinking of getting the Virus C and like the 32 band advanced Vocoder. I have other gear that dose not have vocode capabilitys. I would love to plug in my other gear as a carrier signal and use the virus vocoder.

You can vocode external sounds using the Virus synth engine. I've never tried to vocode an external sound with another external sound.

I use my Warp Factory for vocoding.

yeah i am pretty sure u can although i havent even been able to get anything from it.

its the only thing i cant sort out on my virus.

ditto.. The virus vocoder is a bitch to use imo. I got a 2nd hand Warp Factory that does the job just fine. But don't be discouraged though- the virus is a beauty (monster actually) in all the rest of it's functions.
