5 parts, 8 voices, 1/4 inch plugz, extar pair of outs... 2 LFO's, 2 Envelopes, 2 osc's per voice.
Very creamy quality, like they're trying to model oberheim... but if you push it, it's a screamin' bitch. Honestly, it's not the power of Novation or Waldorf, but this little synth kicks some decent ass, and sounds very nice!
con's: NO EFFECTS (on board aren't all that exciting in most cases, but aside from a lame global chorus, it's got NOTHIN'... and I really like distortion.) OS is wierd, a little difficult to get your head around but I suspect I'll get used to it. AND that's all I have to complain about.
And they cost next to nothing! Beats the crap out of the electribes the go used for what you get this one new!

How's the durability?
Either way, I've been really contemplating getting one of these little bad boys. $200US, that's cheap.

I've only had it a few days, haven't played out with it yet. But it's all steel (or pot metal, hehehe) and durable, tight knobs... in fact I believe the knobs and pots are identical to the Emu modules, look and feel the same.
The Ea-1, which we have, is made of plastic and the points wiggle quite a bit, not to mention the nearly LOOSE pot on the filter cut off, chintzy assed korgs!
but to be fair, I think the ea-1 sounds better, just not as many features!
