Hi, Please tell me the best way to connect the Presonus Bluemax compressor to my Onkyo 8511 receiver. I have a Boss BR-8 (digital recorder) connected to "tape-1" of the Onkyo, that goes out to my CD burner, that is connected to "tape-2". The BR-8 is also connected to my Tascam burner with an optical cable. I would appreciate any advice.

Thank you, Fred W.

Which signal are you trying to compress?

I want to connect the rca outs (L/R) of the digital recorder into the Bluemax's L/R inputs, then from the Bluemax outputs into the stereo receiver's L/R inputs. I have a CD burner also connected to my receiver. I want to be able to monitor the compression effect of the Bluemax while I'm tracking my songs, and also when I'm burning my material to a CD disc. I haven't purchased the Bluemax yet, so I'd like to get some idea on how to make the proper connections beforehand.

Fred
