i'm aware that it sounds somewhat same-ish throughout, but i wanted to keep it simple and do things on a micro level so to speak. oh well, i guess it'll never be perfect. but... there's a minor chance of a vocal mix in the fall when i return from hollidays. keep your eyes and ears perked

Great work Milan - I'm thoroughly enjoying this. The subtle changes are VERY effective and while they are hard to hear, the slight variations sound spot on to my ears. Very enjoyable listen - pro production. Would like a hi-fi version, and would like a copy of Darkstate's comp as soon as it's out. I'd even pay international shipping and put up with the customs officials and FBI's illegal (read: Patriot Act) crap. ;-)

drums and general production are crispity as fuk.
yet i contend with the masses on the samness bit. i love the way the stuff breaks down towards the end and i think you could make that happen sooner and swap from d-n-b rolling thing to the funky thing back and forth and really kick this baby....

this is good stuff.. has a sort of old-school feeling (at least for me.. maybe i'm not as old as some of you

)... it reminds me of this "temple of the sun" (?) remix done in fasttracker 2. only it was more dnb-ish.

though i'm one of those "needs another movement" type people, this mix works well.

could use some more hi end (a hat or crash every once in awhile?).. but other than that the production is ace.

g'stuff.

ugh... tons of modulations which will make it sound like a melody even if you press only one key, so if you play it properly it sounds like a cool semi-random melody which is always subtly changing. but being away from my uQ i cant tell you any more atm...

lol, yeah he's taken a break... couldn't put up with me hassling him for the final mixdown!

The CD is ready to roll, I'm just waiting for a few small details to be cleared up then it goes out to A&R and I can roll off some CDRs to any interested parties

All of the stuff on it is dope, I could listen to Milan, Corea and 0dBs stuff all day!

(And the others of course but peeps here prolly wouldn't recognise the names)

Hey Milan!

Its a very great track, I'm not a real drumNbase lover, but this track sounds so good (wicked mix!), and has a very great overall feeling, I like it really!

I can imagine that a shorter edit a little bit better for my taste (without the ~ 5:00 - 6:00 section), but after the 6:13 seconds there's a very great ending. Nice job!
