SHIT PISS WANK! Ha ha! I'm all logged in and can swear
and stuff.

After a good couple of years of hanging around
at DT and making a fool of myself, I thought I'd (quickly)
write a track and throw it up for a laugh. It's a downtempo
thing called Soap Dodger and it's taken a couple of nights
to write and throw together. Just purely fun and playful
stuff. Not sure exactly what genre it is. I don't normally
write this kind of thing on purpose, it just sort of makes
itself and I watch and tweak knobs and play keys every now
and again.

It still needs mixing and a few spot fx and fills wouldn't go
amiss but it's up and so am I. Yayy.

Let me know what you think...

Cheers.

Indeed a fun track. Nice. Maybe a few stuttering vocals sprinkled on top for catchiness? "b-b-b-boo-for-you"

Ha ha! Shit, yeah Grangehill! I'll have to go and listen to
the Grangehill theme now. Must be on the web
somewhere...

Thanks for the comments.

cool indeed. luv that whatever-it-is slow retard hat/stick thingy....and general grooviness of the whole deal....and that duck-walk clav cracks me up!!! the pad could be made soooo outer-dimensional to throw the thing out of whack or make it a banjo or italian accordion or something. it sits a little flat as it is. but yes> nice track boo!

Hey, thanks for listening mcc>. I guess you mean the
snare. It's just a regular old accoustic snare going through
a big delay. Gives it a nice little roll at the end. I think little
fluffy clouds did something similar, but I found it just by
accident.

I didn't spend much time on this track - I just banged it
out in a coupla nights, but you're right - a more interesting
patch at the end might have been a better way to send it all
out. I'm thinking of cleaning it all up and adding some
sporadic spot fx, or just recording some stuff to DAT and
playing it throughout. I dunno. Now, I rambling...

Heh heh - I actually hate this track due to the previous
Grange Hill comment. I just remembered The bit with the
Sausage on a fork flying into the fat kid during the credits
at the start. I'm going to rip off Rentaghose next...

Big, genuine thanks for listening and commenting.
Haven't put anything on the web in two years. I'll be back
to House and Techno soon. Whoo!
