I have a terratec ews88 mt soundcard running with emagic logic audio platinum 5.5. This is running on windows 98 with a pentium 3. My problem is that i cant get any sound out from it. i have a midi keyboard hooked up with it and all the leads are correct and the volumes are up. I know the soundcard is working because when I play CDs you can hear them.
When I press the midi keyboard I cant hear anything I know that midi data is goin in because I can see the levels moving up.
So if any knows why I aint getting no sound please help.

go to START/EMAGIC/TOOLS/ EASIMME ADAPTER
You will see on the left all the available INputs and OUTPUTS - check the ones you want active (probably all the main i/o's on the rack)
'OK' that, then open LOGIC
Go to menu: AUDIO/AUDIO HARDWARE & DRIVERS
choose tab 2: AUDIO DRIVER2
Ignore the checkbox at the top labelled DIRECT I/O
halfway down you'll see a select checkbox saying: ASIO - and next to it a select drop-down section labelled: DRIVER
tick the ASIO box and select your ASIO driver in the drop-down select-box (dont choose 'asio directx' driver here, there should be a couple of aiso drivers listed)
After selecting the asio driver, a pop-up dialog appears saying: ' Please reboot logic to launch ASIO'
click 'TRY/RELAUNCH' - and wait... if after a pause the proggy doesnt re-set or bums out here, then just re-boot logic and check the ASIO driver is set and ASIO checkbox is ticked.
Tick: 'S/W MONITORING' checkbox, and set the 'MAX I/O STREAMS I/O selectors to show the max IN & OUTS you require to be active at any time (could be: 2-IN and 8-OUT etc etc)
