hello,

me with ambient

http://www.7161.com/track.cfm?track__dt_track_id=4011&user=3805&carrywith=&music_group=1

i used only nova and v station (besides s/w sampling) cause my mixer's broken. refreshing to do a 1 synth track.

any comments would be nice. thanks

andrew

Lovely, happy track. I like that you're taking your trance training and giving it a more personal edge. Your arpwork and arrangement are quite mature here, and the sounds are subdued and never too over-the-top. I would be interested in a middle section that went somewhere... else.... away from the two chord progression (tho a lovely progression it is...), but otherwise, the arrangement works a treat.

I think you're learning that sounds are more evocative when you never give it all away and open the filter completely or something like that. Subtle beauty... very well done.

Love the beat. ALso the "bells" starting around 2:48. Nice song, goes really well with my x-mas mood
Also, the arrangement is superb and very "seamless". The only thing you might consider is to add a little lowpass filter to the "sweeping pad" sound somewhere (maybe at the end?).

Big tick clicked

Yeah man.. heard this last night but was too wasted to type.

weally weally nice work, great sounds and the perc programming is pretty neat also, subdued but to the point.

hah you used the music box thing... though it fits here pretty well.

Perhaps the bass shoule be layered with a pure sine bass to give it a bit more depth.

Other than that love it man.

ooh... nice syncopation between arps and drums after 4:00.

hey bs.... nice flow! different sounding stuff from you but still sounds bs-y so that's good (i mean broken-silence-y.. not the other acronym for bs! heh).

i like how you've taken a new direction.
