Pretty neat, depending on how you look at it: Emapple has 'streamlined' their product line to include just two versions of Logic - Express and Pro, just like final cut...

Logic Platinum and Gold users can upgrade to Logic Pro for $199. Logic Pro now contains the ES1, ES2, EVP88, EVD6, EVB3, EVOC20 + SPACE DESIGNER(!!!) as standard...

These plugins alone cost a mint, so this is a great deal if you don't have some of them... (Space Designer alone costs $300 -$400)

This deal does royally suck if you've already bought these plugs, though...

However, amazing deal for gold users...

There is also news of a percussive modelling synth a guitar amp sim and a new synth in the works - These will be included in the next version of Logic...

Wow, this really looks like a good deal! I just recently bought Logic Plat 6 for
my dual G5 and I was not liking the prices of the plug-ins! Looks like I'll be
upgrading to pro real soon. Thanks

where did you get the price from what is it in english cash and will it run on a g4, is there a
minimum speck?
