I've posted some of my new music at http://lucidskies.dmusic.com/. Mostly all breaks,
with the exception of a couple IDM tracks. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Listening to "Only one caged bird".

Really nice sounds (cool strings), then gets a bit chaotic, but then that "tribal-like" drum kicks in, good. Beat starts, the end of the distorted bassdrum loop sounds a bit odd, but the groove is nice. More of that please!

Pros: original combination of good sounds, solid drum programming (except that little glitch at the end of the drumloop), nice atmosphere.

Cons: No progress, the whole thing starts at point A and finishes at point A. I'd work on the arrangement a bit, make a longer version which actually goes somewhere, not just stops after 3 minutes. I mean its nice in its current state, but there is more in this song than just "being experimental". I'd try to bring that out.

Cheers,
Rags

Hey RAg, thanks for the input! That helps a ton actually! Anyways, I see what you
mean by no progress, thats kinda how I feel about some of my less breakbeaty tracks,
mostly because they are less my style, but i still enjoy doing them. So thanks again, you
advice was appreciated!
Peace!

Got my new MP3 player yesterday so I had a quick listen... I liked what I heard a lot, although I found the structure on some of the tracks was a little undisciplined (except for when the main rhythm track came in to ground everything)

You're definitely onto something though, keep working those abstract ideas just reign them in a little when you hit gold though!
