Well, this is unfortunate to have to post this in a somewhat unfinished state, but I
thought I would share a tragic story with you.
Late one night in my studio I worked away feverishly on my newest creation.
Gritty, yet pretty, techy yet trancey...WHAT? Umm, I don't know, it makes sense
to me, I guess just listen.
Anyhow, after a lot of self-commentary, I decided it would be who of me to take
the rest of the night off, as I was obviously dillusional. Before I decided to hit the
sack though, I thought I should bounce my progress so that I might listen to it on
another system or five.
So to my Powerbook I sauntered, and guided my mouse cursor to Audio>Audio
Mixer within my beloved Logic Pro. Scroll, scroll, scroll to the right. Output 1-2,
Thats IT! I clicked the bounce button and proceeded under protocol.
The Bounce was successful! In my tired excitement I hurridly opened iTunes
and dragged my newly created mix down to a new playlist. Click. Burn.
...
...
...
...
Nothing...
....
......
WHAT?! Click...
...
Nothing! NO!
In a panic I force shut down and restarted, opened Logic and flicked the mouse
to File>Open Recent>thechase.lso.
It's there, phew! I wiped a bead of sweat from my brow and clicked into my
project.
It was there...
but, it was different, it was only 8 measures long now. It was then that I realized I
was f*cked.
So god d*amn it all, here is what would have been a great track IMHO!
-------------------------------
It'sa called "The Chase"
find it by clicking view user, you know...
Peace!
-Mike

gm-
Thanks for listening. I've been trying to finish it, but everytime I open it up I just
get pissed off cause I had already done it once and I just can't get it quite right
again. I think I'm just gonna let this one sit for a while to let inspiration build back
up...suppose I'll move on to some other tracks--I'm currently working on a real
dark breaks track that I should be able to get to the first stage of completetion in
a couiple days...In fact, I'll shoot for that, yeah!
Anywho, thanks again for the feedbackl, the claps/snare have been fixed in what
I have now--I actually added a higher pitched on on top of it and lowered the old
one a bit--
