i going to list my MIDI equipment,i have an idea in what order to hook it all up,but
would like help just in case im wrong.
pc with MIDI sound card on front, also one on rear which can use a joypad style
lead input (if you know what i mean)
8x8 midi interface/timepiece
yamaha cs6x (muiltitimberal 16)
roland juno (muiltitimberal 1)
Akai mpc2000xl (used a drum machine/samples)
at the moment i dont use the akai as ive just got the cdrom for it,so im just adding
it to the studio gear now.
ive mainly had the pc front MIDI unit out going to the cs6x then back again, and
the juno on the cs6x's thru, unfortunatley,i cant records the junos programing this
way,thus buying the MIDI interface.
if i jump in at the deep end im sure il sort it out,but like i say, help please.

Go wash yer mouth! Why do you need a CD-rom to use the MPC? Are you going to use the MPC or PC to sequence?
