I like it. Maybe it's a radical suggestion but I would say take out the low octave pad/drone and replace with something else. Although you probably started with that sound try listen to the entire track without it and see what happens....

well thats by far my favorite part of the whole series.
Listening to this reminds me of The Dust Brothers on the Fight Club soundtrack

Very trippy indeed. Dark, moody, interesting, exciting. Lots of space, lots of "OMFG" sounds. The only thing I missed a bit is some kind of melodic "solution", to ease the end of the journey. Any chance for part 4 ?
