my first techno attempt that is, as a break from the norm

its a bit drawn out as it is, otherwise i'm quite happy with the mix... well banging i think.

if anyone wants to chip in with a sequence for a some "colab" action, there's enough space in the track for that to happen.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

Well, as an absolutely sane person with an unaltered mind

i LOATHED the first 1.5 minutes, (it iS proper pumping 4/4, but a bit too mindless for my taste ), and then you start some really delicious synth stuff, so nice that I don't even care about the drum pattern. And then (horror!) my head started to move up and down..

hmmmm, yes. Make it less DJ-friendly

show some of the melodic stuff earlier. Maybe a pad or a tweaked version of the main theme, something like that.

I've listened to the track several times and liked it a lot.

But for I usually have difficulties to build sentences for most simple contexts, I am anxious to write feedbacks to music tracks because they'd require a minimum of eloquence at least ;)

lol... Stefan, its a compliment that you found my track worth listening to... but it took me a while to understand what you were trying to say!! anxious does mean afraid, but in english everyone uses it as "eager", meaning you *want* to do/try something!

Hmmm... gone to the dark side he has....

Kinda cool dude and a nice departure.

Not a big fan od the stabs tho.. kinda make it sound very 80's and the drums take it over a bit.. Drop them in level a bit so the synths come forward a bit.

Cool- I like it, the drive is there and I def. like what the synths do... heh, yeah, you should do this more often

intro seems alright to me...for a DJ...do a short edit?

Im back on dialup (left oregon, back in hell) so only lofi

does definitely have an 80s sound...some of the synth fillers remind of FSOL imo.

sounds more like trance to me, in all honesty with the synth stabs and the like

i checked this a few days ago and remember immediately liking it.....both the drums and the synths.
i prefer the more basic steady beats as opposed to the trickery & spasticness of d-n-b so i found this easy to roll with.
my dissatisfaction came when the next element became another stab as opposed to some nice sonorous linear phrase.....some big melodic thing would've really opened this up nicely.
it's a good place to keep exploring though....get that 4/4 out there....
as in keep it basic....most of life's best things are.
