i try to keep most all of my internet activities limited to my g3. you can get one for less than 100 dollars on e-bay.
i've buried 2 pcs....they never seem to last.
yet this g3 just keeps performing for how long now?

Do you know though if they make programs like adaware etc for mac? Just like some utilities to

put your pointer over a link and it says the full thing at the bottom/ etc... i dont know how else to
describe it but its the only thing that bothers me about safari

just Carbon Clone your boot drive regularly (the mac equivalent of Ghost) and quit fucking worrying about it. Seriously, why are Mac guys such pussies when it comes to surfing the net with their precious boxes? Remember when you 'rode bareback' on your PC and didn't care? And your PC was the only one likely to actually get anything.
I surf the net all the time at work on our OSX G5's, while cutting 24-tracks at a time @ 24/96 with a full mix running and not even a hiccup. No viruses, no popups, no weird system problems (other than buggy PT plugs, but I digress....)

as does the concept of a framework with different softwares competeing to be the same features - a-la 'extensions'. really makes the platform imortal
