i've got my yamaha SU-10 hooked up to an atari ST w/cubase using the midi connections...but when i try and dump the sample onto cubase, only the imput registers and not the output...i've made sure the SU-10 & cubase are opperating on the same midi channels and all that jazz, and basically its making my brain hurt! any advances?

oh right, yes it does use that, crikey not even a smart card backup etc...eee... well, hmmm you'd be better off probably using the pc and something like wavelab to do that cos your atari aint exactly got much storage on DD disk unless you have a small h/d fitted.

if you mean you cant get the sample data to send back to the SU via midi sample transfer, perhaps it's cos cubase is set to NOT transmit that data but block it out?... otherwise i dunno, never done that with an atari myself cos i used my 1040's with samplers which had disk drives
