i am moving my setup to a smaller space, so i got rid of my good old alesis monitor twos. now i need some new monitors, active (so i can also sell my ra150 power amp) and my budget is limited.
what about samson resolv65, behringer truth or m-audio dx-4???

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

thing is, those esi's are 'bookshelf' rear ported, designed to go against a solid wall & the distance from said wall and it's material (not hollow 'stud' wall) is very important to the bass end balance. Nothing wrong with that, I use a pair of 'bookshelf' speakers but had to construct wooden sandwich blocks to fix the wall brackets to so as the speakers are positioned exactly with the rear of the speaker the correct distance from the rear wall which is solid brick & plaster. So basicaly, dont use 'em if they have no option but to go right up against the rear wall, they need a gap behind to let the rear port breath.

btw, you dont need huge space behind rear ported speakers, but some space is required.which may not be possibel for everyone's setup
