I am looking to buy my husband a cajon after he had a go on a peruvian box in Peru. He is a drummer and quite versatile, but has no particular experience with this type of instrument. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
I would be willing to spend up to £100 but would ideally like the item to be more similar to a Peruvian version than a spanish one. Is that sensible or do you lose quality? - Is it possible to buy one made in Peru?
I see that some of the boxes have additional add-on units. Does that mean that I should buy a certain brand if we want to buy add ons in the future (I assume the brands are not interchangeable)
