I recently bought a second hand boss dr202. what i want to know is why i cannot use the stereo line outs straight into my dj mixer or soundcard, as it is so quiet...does it need a preamp?

no.... BUT, you must connect it to a LINE INPUT on your dj-mixer (could be labelled also as 'CD' or as 'AUX')

if you add it into your soundcard, it should be fine. Make sure your software mixer applet faders are set ok

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
