Hello, Is the MC505 capable of outputing
live mixes to a computer for recording? If so,
what hardware/software is needed?

yes- you need a soundcard or audio into your pc and a recording app- i think even stuff like media player allow you to record (someone jump in if not) so you shouldn't need to shell for soundforge or whatever- even the recorder with the generic sb live 1024 soundcard allows you to select line in at source

i used to have a 505
