yes, you need a phantom-power supply for it. This is either included on many pc/mac audio interface units such as from m-audio, edirol etc, or you can use a standalone pre-amp with phantom-power built-in - standalone pre-amp units start in price very cheap - behringer make one (Mic100 tube ultragain) for 33 GBP...

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
