On speakers that have a simple 1/4" jack input and 1/4" jack output, does the arrangement link the speakers in series or parallel?

Also, when building home-made cabinets is it easily possible to link speakers in parallel when the drivers are not in the same enclosure?

parallel. but you're probably talking about active speakers if they have jack inputs(?), so it doesnt matter anyway because amps are within the enclosure.

i think so. all you need is to split the wires internaly and build two sets of input plugs. you would also need to implement crossovers internaly, but i guess you'd know about that if you want to build that type of speakers in the first place
