I've been trying without success to integrate both BCF 2000 Adn BCR2000 with Cubase SX 3.I've been pluging both to 2 independent USB ports. The BCF works fine but the other one despite showing activitie at the transport bar doesn't do jack, not totally, it interferes with the midi tracks playing ,trigering midi notes.
The BFC is assigned at the midi page controlling the mixe and the BCR (i know it must be wrong)assigned at the mackie control page.
Result:I can use the BCF but the BCR don't play ball.
helping hand?

ah... hmm... i got this working once, and i think i plugged the bcr into the midi IN on the bcf and used only the bcr inserted into the pc via usb, i think

HERe's our mails working bottom to top... it was a while back, but there is 2 links provided to detaisl page for cascading and you can see settings for each item (BCF set to U-4
- BCR set to S-4)

I did get it working in Logic anyways, sx i don't think i tried it, but should be ok

Hi,

yes we tested it with TWO BCFs and it works perfect!

(Apart from this it doesn´t matter if you use a BCF or BCR, the global modes
are identically.)

Please check your routing/global mode settings, wiring (any cable damaged?)
and also your sequencer settings again, and please read the manual
description concerning usage of more than 1 unit.

Best regards,
Bert Niedermeyer

using 2 X BCF, i get midi OUT from the sequencer TO the BCR, but not the
other way round - cant get data FROM the BCR to the sequencer

have you guys treid it with 2 X BCF?

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
