New track Ovoid V

The drum track fucked uu so i resorted to using the "click track"

It's short (for me anyway,4,20) and it's got more variation than usual. Oh, and it's guitar again.

any pointers welcome

heh, i love the way the guitar has that lo-fi DI'd sound, much better then if u used an amp sim which sounded more 'real cabinet sound'', it gives it more character, but the bass is what i like, is that a real bass?... sounds like it, nice and ruff, a bit loud in places tho, it's the bass sound i love tho

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

Sdub: yeah, i hear that. It's all a bit complicated for me really, only got a little over a month of playing under my belt (but those 20 plus years of air guitar are really paying off ;p )

It's actually a couple of amp sims from my ensoniq dp/2 fx. Glad you like my bass sound; really, puts a smile on my face

Oh and yeah, it's a real bass, the infamous El Degas electric bass. used to record this album (incidently, El Degas means The Mess in french )

That sounds evil! I feel the drums could use a fill-in here and there though. It's kinda as if they were forgotten at some point, show them some love... or better yet, some hate

I'll put variations in the drums next time, Tried to redo the drum track, but my timing is so sloppy, it din't feel right, so i used the "click track" sorta.

The guitar is a 1972 Aria, the bass is a 1983 El Degas.

The bass i plugged in the front input of my Ensoniq dp/2 and used preset named fat 4-12 amp (no.84) and a bit of eq on the desk, no compression (i still don't understand compression)

yo snap!.. i also play an old ARIA bass ('Thor Sound' ... *ulp!*), them and ibanez made some really great bass guitars in the 80's
