Boring question I know but I need to revisit this cuz I need a new one. Layla went belly up. Getting a new puter. what do you guys recommend/use for soundcards? I want to keep cost down but cards like soundblaster have always given me conflicts. I haven't used a soundblaster in years though so...

I will be using Sonar and mostly NI stuff for plugins.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

I'd second the Audiophile recommendation... I used one of the original ones for ages & never had any problems with it.
