Would this be any good for a computer-freak musician like me who needs only a simple stereo out? (I mean a good quality stereo out.) I was thinking about getting an ESI Juli@ a while ago, but now I got a good offer (1/3rd of list price) for a second hand m-audio revolution (7.1).

Any advice would be appreciated.

it looks like the old st-audio multimedia card... well apart from the fiddly 1/8" mini-jacks which aren't ideal it should be ok if it's cheap, it's got all the right drivers, and yes, if you want to get into 5:1 or 7:1

if you dont need 8 outs get an audiophile 24/96 for 50 notes, you cant go wrong with them really, the juli@ is also good but pricier, but does give balanced outs if required

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
