I have some earlier tracks I put together on some real cheap software & I would like to improve the sound quality on them.
If I simply export them into Reason in .wav format will it help much with regard to remastering/improving the overall sound (ie, would any gain be worth the effort?) or do I need to start afresh & rewrite the whole track into Reason so I can access the eq for each component?

Cheers guys

well you cant remix it in terms of individual components within the mix, but you might be able to improve the mix with multiband compression & eq or whatever

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

Well, question is if you can export the individual tracks, or just the master out... you can do stuff on a stereo mix too as k said with multiband processing... but it is very hard to do wonders without having the individual tracks exported and mixed together with proper eq and effects.

I usually do not bother with remixing older tracks of mine (I have tons of old "tracker" stuff lying around)... maybe someday.
