I am using the AES/EBU input to channel 15/16 from a CD player. I have a S/PDIF to AES/EBU transformer in line and I am using the proper 75 ohm and 110 ohm cables. The input metering goes into red. The peak lights are red. I have turned the gain on the channels to -24. No distortion is noticeable. I have changed the metering to Pre-Fader. Peak lights are still red. Is this okay?
