I use a new usb voice recorder at work, I record work conversations.
I do this now becaus I wear a suit.
Problem is, the recording's carp, and hurt me damaged ears.
NE way, I'm looking for a freeware player thing, that'd decntly compress the recordings so I can
actually here what I am meant to be listening during the meetings anyway.
Does anyone have ideas about a simple utility that could do this? Yet run on a work computer.

how about a hardware unit such as that handheld R-01 or R-09 unit from edirol?.. they are the top 2 sellers at thomann for the product category "Digital recorders"
they look very smart, i saw an R-09 in use last week on a school project - built in stereo mic, does wav and mp3 recording.. record to something like that & then transfer to lappy afterwards perhaps?

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
