i've just bought a novation bs and i've a pc with a db50xg and cakewalk pro audio 5. i
presume this is good enough to right dance and techno. i also have a midi keyboard.
my question is when assigning the novation to ch1 i still here the drum of my sound
card and not the noise from the novation, if i stick haedphones into the BS then i can
hear the sequence playing but how can i record the rest with the stupid drums being
controlled at the same time as the BS. HELP!! also what about delays i quatised a loop
from the BS but it wasn't in time at all. sorry to babble but im stuck cheers!! any other
advice would be appreasheated, thank you...

The problem that you're experiencing is the one
about local control.. Almost anyways. The thing
you have to do is to put the volume from the db50xg-soundcard to zero. There is a program that
controls all the different volumes. Put all of them
to zero except the input-line, the signal
from the Basstation..

[hope novation's got nothing against people answering..]

Hope it works now..

Chearz!
