We have a drumstation module, and we meet serious problems with it. When we are playing the drums with note-off options enabled (every sound that we play is thus edited as a sample), the drumstation starts to fail to play the sounds correctly. It randomly shortens the sounds, or makes them longer.
The rack module that we use now is the second that we have. We exchanged the first drumstation, when it had the same problems.
Only 4 drum sounds are playing at the time.
Even with the preset banks the same problem occurs. Even without note-off enabled.
We work on Mac running Logic Audio through Motu MidiExpress. All our gear is working OK with the same midi.

What can be the problem? How to cure it?

Is a SuperDrumstation any better?

Using Cakewalk with Virtual Piano Mode enabled can cause exactly what you describe. I can only think some similar fuction may be happening here. What has Motu or E-majic had to say?

It may be the Drumstation or it may be the software you are running like with Cakewalk.

The current Drum Station is electronically Identical to the older one.

Please advise.
