How do you upload and save sounds? I have seen some programs like dumpster and stuff like that but no real how-to's on it. I'm pretty new to this stuff. Any help would be great!

well it strikes me that maybe you're expectiong novation to answer standard studio questions.... you have basstation.... manual... it tells you how to save... read your sequencer help to see how to save sysex.. otherwise just put a track into record, and hit the send button for a single or all sysex dump...... you have to switch the little switch to 'KEYBOARD'... then just set the sequencer to record.... ghit send.... and it's on the sequencer track... you can drag it around, etc from there

The Patch dump of the BassStation KBD is very small and can be easily recorded just like notes into your sequencer package. These can then be saved in varing formats including.mid files. You can find a selection of these sounds available on this site in the Downloads section.

Be sure to save your own sounds first. In this unit the Factory sounds are not recoverable.

Are the BassStation Rack
factorys recoverable?

Also, I have tried checking my OS version switching on my unit
holding the audition
button down, but
it doesn't work...

Does this only work on the
SBSR?

BassStation Rack 00 to 39 are in ROM an cannot be altered or erased.

OS version only works for the DrumStation and Super Bass Station
