(IN - OUT) between your MIDI-interface and CakeWalk, without the whole thing
crashing when trying to record a
knob-movement? Without using 2xMIDI
ports that is...
I've tried to alter RX/TX-channels
on the BSR but it doesn't work...

Try recording knob movements without the MIDI IN connected to the BSR. If it crashes ( the computer that is ) It is more than likely to be something to with Cakewalk.
Please advise your progress and perhaps try contacting Calkwalk as well.
Cheers,

but I still have the same problem, both Midi in/out are connected, when I unplug Midi out the arpeggios play, but I cannot record real time movements on cakewalk, any ideas ?

I asked a worker at the store were I bought it. He
told me the same thing
Phill wrote. But still, I haven't been able to
filter the midi controllers out... I figure that the "Super BSR" doesn't have the problem... It has 2
parts doesn't it?
The midi-loop connection
loops the midi signal due
to Cakewalk repeating the darn thing...
I haven't tried "filtering"
using CubaseVST or LogicAudio. I'll get back
to ya on that one...
Grrgh!!... nothing seems to work...
