apparently if some channels drop out or other weird stuff, it can be the power supply.. especially if this happens with more than one replaced unit.... also.... cakewalk Virtual-Piano apparently messes with it too..... try removing... or switching off from midi sources....

here is something i posted to the newsgroups...

could the power supply be causing my problem?

**********************

i recently got the Novation Drumstation...

and i've noticed a few bugs:
*bass drums go out when i trigeer a clap at the same time
*bass drums go out when i trigger a hat at the same time.

i'm NOT even close to exceeding the 8 note polyphony. i have eprom version 1.3 and i'm pretty sure that i have a V2.

the choked bass drum doesn't always occur but happens often enought to make the unit useless and frustrating for songwriting.

i've read of other people having this same problem, but i figured that 2 years after the initial release all the bugs would have been worked out.
can anyone tell me what's going on and if I do indeed have a buggy module? any personal experiences that people have had with fixing this?

any help appreciated!
