i recently got the Novation Drumstation...

and i've noticed a few bugs:
*bass drums go out when i trigeer a clap at the same time
*bass drums go out when i trigger a hat at the same time.

i'm NOT even close to exceeding the 8 note polyphony.
i have eprom version 1.3 and i'm pretty sure that i have a V2.

the choked bass drum doesn't always occur but happens often enought to
make the unit useless and frustrating for songwriting.

i've read of other people having this same problem, but i figured that 2
years after the initial release all the bugs would have been worked out.
can anyone tell me what's going on and if I do indeed have a buggy module?
any personal experiences that people have had with fixing this?

any help appreciated!

Polyphony loss can be caused by "double notes". If you use Cubase use the Delete doubles function. This will eliminate any duplicate notes at the same location.

If you are using a dreadded PC check "Virtual Piano" is no selected in the MIDI Setup part of your program, that is the parameter that sets the MIDI port, this causes similar effects.

Cheers
