Testing Testing, I need a bit more time. I insist that this is going to be as good as promised. We have over the WEEKEND improved several features. Ihope to post it on the site by Friday.

Extreem apologies for the delay but hey, we are making a great synth BETTER!!

Take your time, Phill... We sure don't want a great sounding synthesizer with an OS full of bugs! And be sure to read our wishlist for OS 3 as soon as you have time to breathe :-)) Cheers & Happy developing!

I'm interested what new features you're adding to this beast - more oscillator waveforms possibly? And also is there any way users could swap patches/performances easily? Thanks.

Swapping programs/performances shouldn't be a problem. This is possible yet with each SysEx utility. On the PC/Windows there is a neat one called dumpster. Considering a sounddiver-adaption providing a memory-manager and (later) an adaption with editors... we need access to the SysEx specification (did you send it out, Phill ?) M.

Testing, Testing, I see light at the end of the tunnel now!!!

Maybe tomorrow. I think we have done it.

Sysex spec available on request. Quite straight forward actually. All knobs & Parameter TX & RX Controllers & NRPNS as per manual. The Sysex covers the rest, Dump requests etc.

I will try to post it on downloads ASAP.

Interested in Dumpster Mickey!! Where can I get it?
What format can it support?
.syx, .mid?
Most important can it support 300k files, most run out of buffer @ 128k.

Dumpster can be found for instance at http://www.hyperreal.org/music/machines/categories/software/Windows/ - it is an old 16-bit.syx utility, but it does its job. About 300k files... mmmh... don't know. But I saw an other program recently... shareware for win9x/NT ... I would think it can handle unlimited SysEx strings. I will look into this and the post the URL if I find it again. -- M.
