Dear SuperNova community,

Being the sharp, creative, and discerning people that you all are (obviously, since you have bought and are supporting such a wonderful machine!), I'm hoping someone knows of a solution to my problem. I'm using a SuperNova performance such that I can sequence 8 different parts from my software sequencer. I do not know of a way to change banks on any given part - it seems that I can only switch programs within the bank that the part is assigned to. Does anybody know how to switch banks on the fly for a part?

Thanks in advance,
KTL

You must issue a "full" bank/program change. This is an excerpt of my Supernova Programming draft:

Extended Program/Performance Select:

B0 00 00 B0 20 bank_nr C0 program_nr

---------------------------------------------------------------------

bank_nr bank table

01 Perf Bank A
02 Perf Bank B
03 Perf Bank C (*)
04 Perf Bank D (*)
05 Prog Bank A
06 Prog Bank B
07 Prog Bank C
08 Prog Bank D
09 Prog Bank E (*)
0A Prog Bank F (*)
0B Prog Bank G (*)
0C Prog Bank H (*)

Hope this helps. -- Mickey.

put your sequencer on record
for example on part 3 and
select the bank and program on your Nova. The sequencer
will record these bank and program changes.
I think this is the easiest
way.

Cheers.
