My drum station only works properly about 1 out of 50 times I turn it on (no hyperbole here, this is fact). Usually I get no out put for the first ten times I turn it on (or more), and then when I do get ouput, it takes a lot more to get all the distortion and noise out of some of the instruments. Is this normal?

Check the OS by pressing and holding down the Audition button and powering up.

If it says 13 you have the latest...any less and an OS upgrade is recommended...


Check also the Power supply...If you do not have a novation PSU4 I reccomend changing it...

Swap with a SuperbassStation PSU if you have one to check...

Apart from that your unit will need a service...Sorry...

it is 13, I am using the right cord (at least it's the one that came in the unopened box. i'ts only 6 months old, and it's always done this.

why did you not return the unit sooner if you have allways had this problem?

Anyway contact Novation USA @ toll free number 1 888 782 3166. You will need purchase date and serial no details to hand...

We can then organise warranty repair..
