The question:
Wich syth has the most dynamic, alive and inspiering sound in dry mode (without the effects)? If you compare these three synts without effects, are there anyone who stands out?

What do you say?

Thanks and bye!
Soon to be Supernova owner.

I would leave that up to you...but although the raw sound is very important as it is the BASIS of the sound, The Effects are important nowdays as well as they impart there own character to the sound...in the past the effects were not very good and enmgineers used to advise switching them off or bypassing during recording but nowdays...its different, effects are an intergrated part of the sound and this is one of the reason we put 8 blocks of 7 effects ( 56 in total ) to allow true multitimbral use of sounds each with a full complement of effects that are dynamically controllable..

Oh and by the way the Supernova has 3 Oscillators, a Noise source and 2 ring modulators per voice...

We think it's kinda good!

Hello SwampMan,

it all depends if you want to support the swedish, german or british economy ;-)
The Supernova is the best and therefore claims the highest economic contribution of the 3 .-)

I am owner of both the supernova and the nord rack2. My opinion is that they are goode in diffrent ways. A bad thing whit the supernova is that you don`t have more than tow waveforms in the osc., but I really hope that version 3.0 is coming soon and that it will include that.
