Original Message 1/7 05-Dec-98 @ 09:51 AM - Something wrong ...
I really love SuperNova but I have some
problems which are really annoying.
I'm not so sure these are common
problems of OS ver2.0 or only happnening
to my SuperNova.
problem1:when I make a change and save
data in Performance, sometimes (not all
the time) data is not saved.
problem2:when I'm playng and editing in
Performance mode, it goes to Program
mode suddenly.
problem3:there is a few buttons
(Performance,Noiz,Part 6,etc) that
respond so bad that I have to press them
really hard.
Please help me.
Thanks.

Ist problem...
check that you are saving changes to the sound in the proper way..
If you have made changes to the "Programs" within the perf...you have to save the performance in the "update programs" mode.
for the second problem check the "Perf Map" in global mode.

1st problem...
I 've always saved Performance with "Update Program ? Yes".
Anyway this problem does not happen as much as 2nd problem, so that's o.k.
2nd problem..
I can't find "Perf Map" in Global mode. It's not there.
(my S.Nova is OS 2.0)
Here is my procedure of changing and saving Program in Performance.
Could you check if I'm doing wrong ?
1)press "Performance"
2)press one of "Part Edit"
3)then press Ten-keys or Bank-key to change a program to be used in the Part.
this is when Performance mode changes to Program mode suddenly as soon as I touch Ten-keys or Bank-key.
By the way I downloaded .DOC and .MID files from your site, but I can't open .DOC file (I use ClarisWorks & MS Word).I would really appriciate if you can sen me an e-mail of how to use .MID file to install OS2.0.
I want to re-install OS2.0.
Maybe that solves my problems.
Thanks.

I think I solved the problems.
There was probably no problem at all from the begining.
It was just the way S.Nova behaves in Performance mode.
Thanks.

Come on all you supanova owners - if your having problems this is your chance to speak!
I think all of you would agree that apart from these little niggling problems the Supernova is a truly great synth!
