i have just brought a second hand drum station from a friend of mine. when i set it up it seems to have a loud earth type noise, is this normal (i have a lot of analog gear and its louder than them all) or can you tell me how to solve the problem. also it is version 1.1, is this the latest version or should it be upgraded.
is it also posible to get or down load a new manual as my friend lost his.

kind regards from hong kong

This should be upgraded to 1.3

Earth loops are notorious to track down. Check if it is actually a fault by monitoring in the headphones,
If it does it there the unit probably has a problem, if not you will have to isolate the earth loop.
