My drumstation (mkI) seems to have many glitches. The most disturbing one being it deciding to randomly sqeel like a pig during our live performances. There seems to be no regular trigger to make it do this and no way to make it stop but to turn it off and back on. (which can be quite annoying with no power switch). Anotheer annoying glitch is it decides to lock up for no reason. Has anyone else had these problems? Is there a reliable way around them?

I believe there was a problem with the power supply on a good number of V1s. You might look into replacing that.

I have a Drumstation V2
And i also have to restart
it sometimes because it squeels like a pig, or some sounds stop playing.
Does it help if i change my powersupply?

Mines not squeked for a while now.It seems to have something to do with the 909 ride cymbal. The only way to sort it as far as i know is to turn it off and back on again. I'll have to check my power supply to see if it's that. You think that these kind of things would be picked up in testing?

My drumstation (V2) plain and simple, locks up.

I get FF on the screen or 00. I know this isn't something I did to it, what gives? Is this a bad rom or just cheesy construction?

Things like this just don't "go bad" all of a sudden for no reason.

Any help, would be great.

Thanks,
Scott

Could be the Rom has dropped a bit or it could be that it's developed a fault...

I would have to see it to be sure...

Send it in for repair

Hmmm...
I've had the same problem (random digital glitches), also with a DS v2.
Seems like a firmware issue to me!

The Drumstation (dunnon which MK, how do I tell) in our Studio sometimes starts to distort badly, and it never seems to be very loud, if it wasn't for the gain available on the front end of my Behringer 2442 we'd be barely able to hear it, it's coming out at microphone level.....Any ideas? Turning off and on seems to sort out the distortion.....

I can't hear any sound out of my DrumStation (V1) after a while I'm working with it.
Midi datas are received (Midi led flashes) but the sound magically (dramatically) disappear!
No control parameters are sent to the DS (Volume...)
Everytime it happens I have to turn it off, but unfortunately the problem is getting esponential.
So I have to keep it turned off for more and more minutes everytime.
Please Help!
THANKS

Nicko,

Your unit may need to be serviced...please contact your Italian Distribution.

Musicjunk,

Check your version of OS. Do this by holding down AutoTrigger and power up...the display should show 13, if it's 10,11 or 12 you need upgrading. This is an eprom and needs to be fitted by an engineer.
