It's quoted on this site that the new Nova unit comes with a 64 band vocoder. How about the Supernova? Does it have this same ability?

Would it be possible then for Novation to add this functionality through an OS update or is there a lot more to it than just adding some code here and there?

Well, I guess it would depend on if they planned it
all along. Novation works in mysterious ways :>)
I wouldn't really count on it, but it *is* kinda fun to
think about. If they *were*
to do this, their genius level (which is already way
up there) would jump right
off the meter. Every time I
use my Supernova, I smile
with delight at the sheer
brilliance of the thing, both sound quality and user
interface. Do you hear that, Phil? Genius!

Weh heh.....Maybe SNV owners will be getting a vocoder after all......

Phil, what about the possibilty of configuring one or two of the outputs as audio inputs or are they hardwired? probably a daft question.
